About the Artist
Born in Boston 1919, Richard Scarry began his career illustrating Little Golden Books. He is best known for his large-format Best-Ever book series set in the fictional town of Busytown, home to beloved anthropomorphic characters such as Lowly Worm, Huckle Cat, and Bananas Gorilla.
With bustling towns, curious characters, and adventures around every corner, Richard Scarry showed generations that childhood is at its most magical when curiosity leads the way.
